Great Network

June 17th, 2013

I came from Gainesville Florida, and I would have to say that living here in Delray for 1 year now has probably saved my life. I was just getting so messed up in north Florida. I got evicted from my apartment up there and decided to give Delray a shot, and it has worked for me. The network here is endless, and that really helps me keep a positive mind set while I’m doing all the work.

Changed my Life

Delray has helped me in a lot of ways here. Delray has changed my life and changed me from my old lifestyle, which was an inevitable path to death. So I mean, Delray has really helped me a lot. The only bad part is that it’s expensive.

No Place Like Delray

For me, in my opinion, you can’t get into a recovery program anywhere else with this many people all in one place and have them take sobriety seriously. There are a lot of people that are in and out and stuff like that and can kind of mess you up, but like if you get with the right people in my opinion you can stay sober. I’m from just outside of Philly, and there is no way I could have stayed sober out there. There are meetings there, but there’s so many people using out there and it’s too easy for me. Down here I don’t really know how to get any drugs, and I’m trying to keep it that way. I would tell people from up home to come here and get sober.

Delray has really been quite conducive to my sobriety. I just feel that there are so many friendly people here going through the exact same situation as me. Having friends you can relate to has helped me tremndously and the fact that it has such a youthful network here keeps the positive vibes going.

Sober for 2 Months!

I’m from Jersey, and over there the drugs were all around me and I didn’t have the strength to say no because everything is so easy for me there. Living in Delray helps me stay sober because nothing is familiar here, and if I fuck up, I’ll be on the street, or worse I’ll have to go back home.
